Paper Navy: Murfreesboro, TN, United States; Paper Navy are a folk-pop outfit originating on the fringes of Nashville, TN. Hometown-twang and train rolls notwithstanding, the music one hears is more cosmic than country, calling on the subtle effects of atmosphere to soften an otherwise dark airing of views. Their project, All Grown Up, was recorded in a ramshackle rehearsal space (that also serves as a laundry room) by Shawn Anfinson (vocals, acoustic guitar), Brandon Harris (guitars, bass) and Simon Lynn (drums, bells). Presently, Anfinson and Harris are collaborating on a new body of work to be released one song at a time over the course of years.
